Hello all!
I found this group called Attack! Marketing
where you are hired to go into the streets and promote various products.
I like the flexibility in it because you can choose which events, times, positions, and even the customer that you want to work to promote.
I am looking for similar opportunities or companies that are like Attack!
I currently live in Washington DC.
Can anyone help me?
Sooooooo . . . I applied for a job simply b/c it had “writer” as one of their targets (among many others). I have an interview tomorrow, and I’ve been researching the heck out of the company. Still I have no idea what this really is . . . is it like running stands at the state fair for a company, for example, or holding demonstrations at grocery stores? What is this? And I even wiki’d it . . . nothing.
Any help would be appreciated; thanks all!
I’ve been in finance for about 5 years and realized it’s not for me. I am making a transition into
marketing and two opportunities have come up: one at an agency for extremely low pay and one at a corporation for pay close to what I was making but it’s specifically in Event marketing. I’m not sure what would be better in the long run to begin a new career path in marketing. Can anyone with experience provide any advice or things I should think about? I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I am a new Account Executive for an up and coming television station. I am looking for somebody, preferrably somebody who is successful in advertising, (say a successful ad agent) or someone of the sort to e-mail back and forth with. I am starting to feel a little lost and would like and outside perspective on my work so far. Where can I find somebody who is willing to share their expertise?
My cousin isn’t a fan, yet due to this economy had to take a sales job. He hates calling people, preferring instead to send out
marketing e-mails and leave voicemail, but those seem to not be getting any sort of response. What would be a better way to do sales that would produce some good results and not be as intrustive as calls or as ignored as e-mail or voicemail?
I am a
marketing officer in my firm, I named my e-mail account as ‘MONTANA Sales’. But it gets treated as junk by most spam filters. How to go around the problem, or please suggest an alternate alias.
I have a lot of experience in event sponsorship sales and event
marketing. I’d really love to work with a performing arts organization (ballet, opera, etc), media company (like Turner Broadcasting), or an ad/PR agency in some capacity. I am available to relocate anywhere in the U.S. Any leads? Please, don’t tell me to go to Careerbuilder and Monster. I am networking to find an actual person within an organization that may be able to guide me in the right direction. I shall appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
I am recruiting for a seasoned Pharmaceutical Marketing professionals (Hypertension or Thrombosis) and I would like to network. Location is not an issue as the position would relocate (E. Coast). This person must have “RAN” a major brand (strong leadership and has likely had 8+ reports & P&L responsibility). If you can provide name/contact information I would be very appreciative. You can also email in confidence at run4247 “at” yahoo.com.
THANK YOU!
